Redacto

Redacto is a macOS document-redaction app for reviewing files before they leave your desk. It helps people identify sensitive information in PDFs, images, text files, and common document formats, then create safer versions to share with clients, support teams, or AI workflows.

Import PDFs, images, text, CSV, JSON, RTF, or DOCX files; review automatically detected emails, names, addresses, tax codes, secret keys, and more; and add manual redaction boxes where needed. Redacto rebuilds exported PDFs with redacted regions flattened rather than simply hiding the original text layer. Files are reviewed locally on your Mac, with no account or cloud upload required.
