Halo

Halo turns your MacBook notch—or a customizable island on any screen—into a glanceable hub for notifications, dictation, music, calls, and live Claude Code and Codex status. It runs on macOS 15 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Read notifications in the island, dictate text wherever your cursor is, check which app is using your microphone, and see when an AI agent needs you. Halo also includes Now Playing controls, timers, a file shelf, clipboard history, battery information, and external-monitor controls on supported Macs. It requires no account, keeps notification and agent data on your Mac, and is available for a one-time purchase with no subscription.
